Arshad's Short 'Kut' for MJ

Although Short Kut is set to release in a couple of days, Arshad Warsi got a scene, which showed him punning on the late Michael Jackson, deleted from the film at the eleventh hour.
A source said, Arshad Warsi held a private screening of Short Kut for his family and friends. Incidentally, it was a day after Michael Jacksons death (June 25). After watching the film, Arshad realised that the scene, where he punned on Michael Jackson, would be in bad taste given the pop stars sudden demise.
The scene was initially intended to bring some comic relief. Arshad called up director Neeraj Vora and insisted that he delete the scene.
A source from Anil Kapoor Productions said, Anil agreed to cut out the scene regardless of the additional costs hed have to incur . We couldnt have been insensitive to MJ.
Neeraj confirmed the news and said, Its tough to delete scenes once the prints are ready but we are working on it.
